Hello, My name is Yamilka Mirambeaux. I’m a New York City based photographer who specializes in weddings, engagements, and editorial photo shoots. I aim to capture your life’s biggest moments in a way that’s both authentic and unforgettable. Because I live in one of the world’s most diverse cities, I have the privilege of meeting people from all over the world. I absolutely love learning about new cultures! My favorite part of my job is highlighting these various cultures in all of my photos.
I’m fascinated by the way love transcends language and borders. Two of my favorite places to shoot are Untermyer, Central Park and Oheka Castle. I've had the chance to capture some truly stunning images. When it comes to my favorite countries to shoot in, I have to say the Dominican Republic, Italy, Paris, Belgium, and Switzerland. Each of these places has its own unique beauty, and I can't wait to discover even more incredible locations in the future. Of course, there are still so many places I would love to explore and photograph. But for me, photography is more than just taking beautiful photos; it’s an opportunity to connect with my faith.
And if you’re a little camera shy, don’t worry; my clients say I have the ability to put them at ease. It’s important to relax on your special day, so I strive to be warm and friendly on every shoot. I’m always on the lookout for great locations. Whether it’s a majestic castle or a modern skyscraper in NYC, I’ll use my keen eye for composition, along with lighting, to create stunning images.
